Trivello Energy Corp. Announces Lucy Partner Meeting
Calgary, AB. Trivello Energy Corp. (“Trivello” or the “Company”) announces that a partner meeting has been scheduled for September 11, 2008 to discuss and finalize the completion plans for the Company’s Lucy Prospect in northern British Columbia Trivello recently announced that it had received approval for its “experimental scheme license for the exploration and development of Horn River shale gas in the Gunnel area” from B.C. Oil and Gas Commission (“OGC”). This license is valid for a period of three years, and all reports and well data will be kept confidential by the OCG. This allows Trivello and partners full control over well data for competitive reasons and during any potential divestiture strategies that the partnership group may pursue. Arndt Roehlig, President of Trivello states: “This welcomed exploration license marks a major milestone in the development of the Lucy Prospect. During the upcoming partner meeting, we will finalize the schedule for fracture stimulation on the well completed last season, and discuss the various opportunities available in the other two wells on the property. Upon achieving a successful fracture stimulation and achieving anticipated test results the well will be tied in to nearby gas pipelines and infrastructure.” This planned test and development program could be one of the first Horn River basin projects in this area to be put on commercial production and would begin to validate the overall reserves in the area. Upon a successful completion, the Lucy prospect will become one of Trivello's major assets for production or disposition in the near term. A comprehensive 51-101 compliant Engineering Report on the above property has been filed on www.sedar.com. To read more about the Companies projects, please visit www.trivello.com. | Trivello Energy brings service rig to Alexander
2008-06-26 14:21 ET - News Release Mr. Arndt Roehlig reports TRIVELLO DEPLOYS SERVICE RIG TO ALEXANDER Trivello Energy Corp. has contracted and mobilized a service rig for its Alexander property. This service rig is contracted to perform a workover on the oil well at 6-7-57-1 W5M. The workover is engineered to focus and optimize production from the lower Wabamum formation in the oil well previously completed in two formations. This property is owned by Trivello's wholly owned subsidiary DevExco Resources Ltd. DevExco owns 90 per cent BPO (before payout) and 55 per cent APO (after payout). The above operation encompasses abandoning the upper non-productive Ellerslie formation through cement squeeze, to focus on the productive lower Wabamum formation. The Wabamum formation has not yet communicated with the entire wellbore, thus potentially restricting the communication and inflow of fluids. Once the Ellerslie is properly abandoned, the company is optimistic that production will increase from 12 barrels per day (BOPD) to 20-plus barrels of 25.5 API oil per day, which is what the well produced when Trivello's DevExco placed the well into initial production. A comprehensive 51-101-compliant engineering report on the above property has been filed on SEDAR. |

| Trivello Energy files 51-101 Compliant Engineering Report for Lucy
Calgary, AB. Trivello Energy Corp. (“Trivello” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has filed a comprehensive 51-101 compliant engineering report for the Company’s shale gas property in the Horn River region near Fort Nelson B.C. This report can be viewed on www.sedar.com.
A short summary of the Company’s prospective reserves in BCF (Billion cubic feet gas) are as follows:
| Low case
| Medium case
| High case
| Lucy (1,974 acres) |
|
|
| BCF
| 4.8
| 9.6
| 14.4
|
Total gross prospective resource awarded in the ground is estimated to have a recovery factor of 55% and surface loss of 10%.
The extension to the mineral license has been applied for with the British Columbia governmental agencies and is expected within 60 days. Once obtained, such lease extension will permit the Joint Venture to continue the completion attempt of the drilled and cased two Muskwa gas wells previously drilled on these lands on a similar program scope that the rest of industry is using. A typical evaluation program would be a horizontal well drilled off a vertical, followed up by a hydraulic fracture program and well productivity testing. Up to 8 wells per section (Company owns 3 gross Sections) are possible under such a development. Upon success of this program, engineering for pipeline tie-ins will commence with potential production possible as soon as 2009 followed up by additional wells.
The Company owns an undivided 10% net Working Interest (WI) at Lucy.
